V. K. Brill from 1983 came to our attention, which should be mentioned here. The author gives a detailed summary of the related court documents. He notes that the accusers are not interested in the reason for Cordt Hemelings death, but solely in Gerdt Brekers statement of liability. Brill suspects Breker to be a scapegoat and discusses possible medical reasons for Hemeling’s death (septicaemia, internal injuruies resulting from the fall and a heart attack).
